I, a Mermaid singing alluring songs to beckon
you...break the spell, and become a woman

You, the Unicorn...instantly becoming a man
to live and love the mermaid for the woman
she becomes

~If ... being for eternity~forever beauteous is
the romance between heaven and the sea

Oh! wonders of the universe...indulge my pining,
make it happen for the beauty and the beast

A lovely, mythical poem of what cannot be, but wished for non the less. I love the line "make it happen for the beauty and the beast."

Medieval folklore has it that a unicorn can only be tamed by a virgin. Your romantic siren song certainly has echoes of that period. This is an economical piece drawing on familiar mythical imagery.

A fantasy to come true. Mermaids and unicorns whooping it up with human forms. Your mind is a vast sea of wondering . . . That's a good thing.
