Earthly colors apparent everywhere
we the ladies of the Art Nouveau days
dressed much like the trees, conspicuous
in the glamour of an ornate spiral staircase
besieging each other, eliciting fashion
statements for ones outstanding uniqueness
Seek my green eyes out, ask Me for a dance,
twirl and swirl me until we seem as one, and
I will give you a night of romance as surely
as the leaves of Autumn fall in decorous
resplendent splendor
In our privacy, following the last dance
remove my elegant clothing piece by
piece as we stroll the floors of parquet
and approach the bed for the comfort
of the goose down that will envelop us
as we exploit each other's pleasures, I
promising not to be a lady in the bedroom
until the ecstasy of the night ends
Neither one of us anxious for the morn, as
the sun rises in your sexy eyes so blue and
sets in my eyes so emerald green, yet so it
is with promises kept another year...I say
Happy Anniversary, My Darling

coming where it does in the poem sets the tone
and then, "...I promising not to be a lady in the bedroom"
adds another dimension, another face,
and then again, that final revelation.
Elegant sensuality, Vivian, and vibrant.
