Rapture for a black night, twinkle of the path
sing along twilight silence soft, standing tall
walking proudly through a court of twelve
for a December accounting, thus to be lessons
learned for a January beginning anew once again
Gleeful sopranos and baritones with choirs blending
lighting up a soulful verse arched for gleaning trees
into glistening winds..love's serenity stanzas in joyous
caroling for beginning new journeys hibernating within

I really enjoyed the mental images of Christmas carolers but I LOVE the last line with "new journeys hibernating within".

Choirs singing old fashioned carols probably represent the last vestiges of the real meaning of Christmas and you have captured that atmosphere perfectly here. Pity those new January journeys are seldom completed.
