Living life of picturesque enchantment bridging a room for adventure of intriguing depth by way of strong ocean breezes enticing golden gates of concrete and cable to sway their mystic to a sensuous city that never sleeps Such to be a myriad of affairs something for everyone of all cultures venturing from Nob Hill to a rich financial district while others roam bay wharfs for walk away shrimp cocktails, oyster on a half shell or any such of gourmet liking Nostalgia galore amidst the famous Cliff House with Seal Beach critters to entertain or perhaps being lovers as the tide swells and delivers the Pacific Ocean with foam on beaches to roam leaving sand between toes Whether a tea garden be your forte or just seeing the bison living to graze..then perhaps San Francisco Park would be on your agenda where you are free to re live history as well Sunrise Gold, Erie fog or Sunsets from the horizons of earth..stand for a time of silence while an experience unfolds that can exalt your speech in a way to forever change your meaning of a gold rush for The City by the Bay mined for Beauty of one's Heart never to leave (c) Golden Your Heart for Living 23January2012 Vivian L Dawson It matters not the place~Only heart to heart traversed through own's open golden gates

San Fransisco has always been one of my favorite cities to visit. The Cliff house holds many dear memories in my heart. Your excellent and descriptive words have done you and San Fransisco proud. 5 stars.

With 5 Uncles settling in the Bay area, all my life I spent many a summer visiting..fisherman's wharf was among my many memories :)

Your words bring back fond memories of a time, all too short, spent in the city by the bay. Parking up on Point Lobos with a girl, watching the Pacific rollers. Riding the Powell and Markets cable car, I am transported to that time; but that's what poems are all about. Thank you for the trip.

Ah, I've many fond memories of the City by the Bay, and sitting on the dock of the bay is just one of them. North Beach=Crazy times. This was in the sixties where you could get stoned from weed drifting in the air on the way to work. Scuzzy Greek restaurants, and . . . Oh, I realize I've been describing quite another City by the Bay than were you . . . Still, there was room for us all back in tha day . . . Great poetry, Vivian, it truly brought back some wonderful memories and a few faces to go along with those memories.
