When my dog walks Me, so many
interesting people I meet to greet
having passed Miss Lola's inevitable
sniff worthiness test ending with her
trusting approval

Our walk in the park lends itself from
mutts to pedigree, but never the
matter, it's all in the scent with much
tail wagging instead of tongue waging

Miss Lola is well known in the park and
soon she and her four legged friends are
into their playful games chasing a ball or
catching a Frisbee

Ooh! La La!! new to the park over there,
Miss Lola..Mr. tall, dark and handsome
with his equally stunning canine..of course,
we must pay our respects and perhaps...

But, end of days, come what may...ode is
always to be as good as Miss Lola thinks
