The California adobes nestled side by side tell not of our twilight interludes briefly pending or interlocking..will he? I wait..not to evade the impending timing of a wise Grandfather's clock garners my attention chiming this precious hour foretelling a midnight tock revealing the ticking of our hearts round and round in unison not to doubt the precision making minutes fleeting A view ahead can only be exemplified as the swallows returning to San Juan Capistrano full of grace or cast out by the tides of La Jolla as the cliffs stand watch never to reveal our relationship Portrait a sunrise and Lasso a moon.... California is a great place for a love affair, all that sun, sand and whatever else folks get up to there. Even the Latino names have their own magic. Like this a lot..

Vivid images of the California coast, San Juan Capistrano, the swallows, and a midnight rendezvous all wrapped up in a nice neat little poem.

I could tock all night of this cozy ticking... again, such voluble verse, voluminous, vivavacious Vivian woven through each line... "in luminous light to surround"...an ending that never ends...
