We teach our children rote memory. We give them knowledge. It is not often we show them how to think for themselves. Such is our problem with understanding concepts. The source of that is from within and not some external judgment.

Don't think I have read a poem about extra-terrestials before. I suspect the "aliens" would be the dissilusioned ones and probably fearful too given the mess we have made of our world, maybe we look a bit like them.
Heh-heh The "disillusionment of fear" is a great coupling of words, Vivian, and stating aloud the belief that we are not alone gives credence to a thinking mind.
