Life's roads too many legs
beckon proceed at your own
risk engaging unforgiving love
making for black widows short
lived the ecstasy poisoning her
beauty suspended in emotional
bliss within entangled vile web cunning with her deceptive
laughter
Solid the white line not the one
with spaces where a black widow
may dwell spinning her web of silk
deceit for your soul to take
Ever will be black and white manifestations hint of red
taking on meaning warning to
stop literally for your life's
culmination to fruition by
endurance to make it

I love that little spider nursery rhyme. Makes for some great hip-hop too. I never knew a black widow I didn't like. But then I never knew a black widow, thank goodness.

I sure hope it was worth it for all those little male spiders that got eaten afterwards. Just goes to show how weak men are; note to self; beware of predatory females. Are you mocking our folly, Poetess?
