I suppose it's a bit late to comment but I set off on holiday on Fri 13th and managed to survive so maybe I should do it more often. Perhaps it's because I spat when I saw a black cat.

Yea, it is I find funny to think of a date, any date, as being unlucky but then again so are a thousand other superstitions we all subconsciously adhere to.
