Poem Artwork

Imagine a forest
on the road of life
travelers being tested
challenging request
of falseness pending

Important consequences
in the days ahead
conceive complex situations
encountering speed bumps

If you are moving ahead too
fast do you grin and bear it
causing serious damage to
your head

Or can trouble be averted
if you see the obstacles far
enough in advance

Take your cues from the
feedback that reality is
offering you and plan
your course accordingly

This puts into words (different words admittedly) what a motorcycle instructor told me once about reading the road and anticipating what might happen. It has worked so far so your advice is very apt. Perhaps that's why the sign still does not apply.

i'm wondering if i'll ever find a way out
of the forest;
luv the sign - there's a parallel one which says:
Pampers On, Bumpy Road Ahead

Right off I am only laughing about the picture, a friend of mine and I joked about false teeth :)

But we cannot plan, we can only face the situation when it is presented to us. At that moment discernment is our friend. Past behaviors etc., using your own mind and own judgement. Roads are what they are we all travel them it is our learning.

Yes, Vivian, but what of the miscues and disinformation, signs of the times I guess... a clear read often depends upon the lie, but that's par for the course...

Ah, Vivian, you know people never thing bad things are going to happen to them, so they ignore the warnings until life's harsh realities compels them to wonder why they didn't read and heed.
