Courtyard of My Ambience Sad the vacancy I wait for you my long lost captain of the sea In our garden court from whence you left so very long ago I am adrift in the fragrances you so lovingly planted Amiss yet experiencing metaphorical changing of the guard as one phase is over yet the next one hasn't begun as I wait Planting details of your image in my mind's eye manifesting into dreams while my love remains paramount in remission until your virtual return (c) Courtyard of My Ambience 28August2012 Vivian L Dawson

There is some really great imagery in this, "adrift in the fragrances" is inspired. You have maintained the thematic threads all the way through the piece. a fine piece of writing.

As the wife of a late husband who died as a
