Time never meant in a bottle
life awaits in the reflections
to grow everyday by exploring
why we are here just as surely
the seasons wait their turn
celebrating a renewal while
acquaintances come and go
friends never leave only to
become dearer in time

Was it Aristotle who said "Friendship is a slow ripening fruit"? Sort of sums up your reflective little piece.
Deep, very deep, from whence many good reflections come and yet we are destined and hopefully do, celebrate renewal rather than becoming stagnant in those reflections. Be well, Kathy
A wise soliloquy concerning philosophy and the time-honored ritual of loving life and honoring those friends with hugs in the guise of poetry. Very well put, Vivian . . .
