But if we do not learn from
our old mistakes, we may well
be condemned to repeat them.
Living in the present is the key,
taking all we need from the former present
and the anticipated present (aka past and future)
to enhance our capacity to realize our true potential,
whatever the wattage!

Not sure about the genetically modified daffodils but I wish you a baggage free 2013.
Ahh, but you just know that old baggage will not only follow us, but blind us to doing things correctly the first time . . . Just take congress fer instance . . .
I have never been able to shake off the old baggage, wish I could just forget all the old bad stuff & look forward to the new...Happy New Year, Vivian...e
Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
