~Free Wheelin~ The day you learned to ride a bikewobbling down the street or drivewayMom or Dad running alongside yellingpedal, pedal, pedal And then one magical day you found your balance and took off on your own feeling the breeze in your face, swooping thrill of coasting down a hill, such sense of accomplishment when you make it up a hill to the top of a steep grade Nostalgia..Once you learn, not to forget grip the handle bars..And pedal, pedal, pedal much to say about cycling through life (c) Free Wheelin 11March2013 Vivian L Dawson Photo from Saturday Evening Post March 11, 1961

Don't they say it's something you never forget how to do? That day when Mom let go of the saddle, was it a new found skill or self preservation? This brings back happy memories of a that first short journey that has led to a lifetime of pleasure on my bike.

I think we can all remember pedaling by ourselves for the first time...and pedaling in and out of trouble, more so falling in and out of love.
