overseeing characteristic
behavior descried of wind sock from a summer breeze being therapeutic balm for
some and a dangerous
intoxicant for others with
a kind of radiant heat that both soothes and burns
to your credit or demise from
the ascertainment of oneself

I have never seen the word "windsock" in a poem before. Full marks for audacity. There's a line in Hamlet "To thine own self be true". This is reminiscent of that sentiment.
You are so right about the soothing and burning. All that vitamin D can be dangerous to your skin's health even though your body craves it. I don't know why, but tan lines drive me crazy with the contrast between white and tanned skin. It's probably a man thing, because were so visual when it comes to beauty. would like to put that wind sock on for size!
