~Falling Down Going Up~ Losing upright position suddenly coming
down freely under the influence of gravity
originally standing tall but appropriate to
season of fall
Lower to higher gaining wind movement
positioning feelings of exuberance you
came up and kissed me above horizon
just as the moon encircled our love
Therein "She whispers, I'm afraid of falling down~As He smiles, I'll catch you"

Must remember to always kiss a girl above the horizon, I do like an unintended meaning. Come to think of it, your poem could bee read any number of ways.
Often......a situation needs to be the way
it is...so...that...later...it becomes what
it needs...desire...to become.
Your vivid/visionary poem...Vivian...proves the point.
With warm regards Isabella.

Ahh . . . The title captured me and caused me to recall a book I read many years ago (the sixties) by the name of "Up the Down Staircase." Of course your poetry isn't anything like the book it reminded me of. Falling in love is like losing touch with the reality of gravity, and such seems to be the case here, but the last two lines are the ones which cement the relationship I'm thinking. Nice work, Vivian.
