Between life's tracks
conductor yells all aboard
density changing for rain
to fall on any stop accepting
picking daisy petals one
by one to know ending
beyond caboose he
loves me for this I grow
propelled long distance
viable by rights of way

Most writers extol the merits of the other side of the tracks but you have brought a shot of reality in this piece. Life is mostly lived between the lines and the constant quest to predict outcomes is well represented here.

"Between life's tracks", those three words encompasses one's whole life.
