What is more flavorful
than the oils extracted
from the spearmint plant,
more satisfying 
to unwrap and chew
than spearmint gum
and sweeter than the melting
of spearmint candy
between my jaws?
Your beauty I say
because it taste like forever

Fearful of missing
one second
of enjoying your beauty
my eyes of brown
vow never to blink again
and with each gaze upon you,
I find reasons of many to rejoice
and declare this moment
as a new holiday

Only eyes with jealousy
as its bride
can not see 
your beauty so gentle
exceeds the vision
of an ancient
Thessalonian Princess
rising up from the Aegean Sea
with watery eyes
deeper in softness
than the gentle fall
of the first raindrop

Destiny has demanded
your beauty be captured
by Mother Nature
on the surface
of the Indian Ocean
and be framed
in waves colored cloudy white,
then with great care
and no drip
be air lifted
to the Smithsonian
Institute of the Sky
and be titled
"Beauty Beyond Beautiful"

Joyously I float through life
on the rolling waves
of your oceanic beauty
and never desire
to visit land again

Are my eyes
the prey of your beauty?
Why then during shuteye
does your untamed beauty
effortlessly run, at full pelt
across the faraway fields
of my southern Asian dreams
like a wild tigress
stalking my eyes

With soulful sadness I write
because never
can I pen enough poems
about your beauty
to satisfy my fingers
so this poem 
must be continued
until breaths 
visit my lungs no more
