This is my tribute to Waylon Jennings. Like the original song it has many hidden meaning you are welcome to guess at them but I won't answer yes or no. Have fun reading this.
From out of the West Texas Bad Lands Came a boy would forever leave his mark He started out with his own small band Honest music became his trademark A friend and buddy gave him a shot And taught him to follow his own heart His victories were all hard-fought Cause the brass thought him a wild upstart But the Sheriff helped him find a way Soon he became known as an outlaw But the music he'd never betray Tho some folks thought him a scofflaw He roomed twice with the man in black Together they teamed up with Tex and Will And kept making returns and new tracks Headliners all, they would share the bill Some people looked to him as a hero He was just a man with a good woman Yes he had done some sinning I know But He cleaned up before he moved on They say he got smarter as he got older But even early he kept the music honest And with Jess ever at his shoulder He loved, he sang and on life he focused The black hat was his rebel's emblem And stoic Leon, his stage companion He won't be nominated for saintdom But Heaven is his home from now on He passed peacefully, family along side Mr. Guitar, the Sheriff and Hank were waiting Now together they've revived the Hayride Where feet are tapping,'n angel's are clapping ..

Brilliant !!! It reads like lyrics to a song. Love it.
My memories as an immigrant professional woman in Ottawa, Canada 47 years ago. A new life after having survived the liberal war of a new country Bangladesh on December 16, 1971.
The experience of a young adult trying to figure out what they want to do for employment or education can be overwhelming. My book will give them insight to what it means to be a carpenter. And the progress unions have made in discrimination.
