Finally Free

Once upon a time in a not so far away land

a lonely princess had all she could stand,

Her life was shattered and torn apart

she longed for love and a brand new start,

She wanted to be happy and to be set free

she felt like a prisoner who had no key,

So she left her palace walls far behind

in search of a new life she hoped to find,

Her days soon turned to months and her months into years

she was ready to give up as her disappointment turned to tears,

Then one day as she traveled along

she felt a hand take hers so gentle yet strong,

As she looked into his eyes so loving and kind

She knew it was he, she had set out to find,

Atlas! the lonely princess finally was free

because she had the lock, but he held the key.
