this is one of my favorite pieces of your talent jane...honesty about honesty. how can we possibly write in any kind of truth without first, as i've heard, getting bare 'nekid'.

Has nothing to do with you, it is your ability
to touch every subject without fear and we know
you are most definitely a very sweet soul
Jane, this poem speaks to my heart. I love God and so often feel I fall short in His ways. Poetry is often the culprit. I console myself by thinking that He is the one who gave me the desire and ability to explore through this artform, all the subjects that catch our attention from little things to large, innocent to incideous (sp?). Anyway, one could argue that He also gave us the ability to invent the ax and the murderer the ability to wield it. Still, I think we do no harm exploring life's possibilites and impossibilities and sharing ourselves with whomever might care to read. Well written, by the way. Be well, Kathy
