Death is never really the end.

I had three balloons I held tightly to They taught me to laugh And just what to do Balloons soon do pop As each of mine did I cried with each loss For I was the kid Jane Noponen Perinacci

This is a really beautiful comparison Jane.
And even now the balloons are not there any more, you will forever take with you what they taught you.

Well said. The lifespan of balloons, insects, snakes, toads, and pets tells us a lot about the eventuality of death.
