Jane, this is beautiful and sad at the same time. True, we live in days utter madness, much of it coming from our government. The Middle East have been killing each other since Biblical days and show no desire to stop it. They worship a mad-dog prophet who thinks bedding girls who have not even bled yet as the right thing to do. The daily regurgitation of lies, cover-ups and traitorous acts performed in the White House and the Congress of the United States of America, and still, the ones in the military continue to carry out their orders as they have since General Washington fought the British. And for the most part they are scorned back home, especially when it rains and the president makes a military man hold a damn umbrella so the man who is so totally out of his depth doesn't get wet. Pardon my little rant. It is how I feel.
