I am a Caregiver although I could use one at times! This is about "My Lady".

What are you thinking While you sleep Seeing a smile on your face Something no price could replace Keeping those mem'ries Dreams so deep Was he so handsome back then Prince charming above all men Tell me again how You do keep Thoughts of your children and theirs Within your thoughts and your prayers Jane Noponen Perinacci

Jane,

I was a caregiver for many years..eight in a nursing home and six private duty. I can certainly relate to your poetry. I enjoyed the story telling of the residents at the nursing home and I was surprised at all they could remember. Excellent poetry, Jane.

You are very observant and she is contented, at least while she is sleeping. I wouldn't exist without three caregivers that make life possible for me. They are angels in disguise. The disguise is their, all too human, penchant for forgetfulness and falling into routine. I don't think they observe me in sleep at all. In fact, one of my caregivers has told me that I, "don't sleep at all." If I didn't sleep, how could I ever dream all these stories and poems?
