The best escape.

Poem Artwork

I dreamed of a place far away
Lone cabin in forest to stay
Birds songs and a stream full of fish
My wonderful everything wish

Wood stove and a kettle to boil
Happy am I just for to toil
For freedom and fresh air to breathe
I never no never would leave

Woke up to a new day of real
Dream faded as daylight did steal
Still cozy from cabin retreat
Looked out at the cars on the street

Wondering where I will be
Once sleep and dreams take me to see
Life takes me away from it all
When evening and "they" come to call
