Smiles all around me Laughter in air Kites o'er the beach fly Swoop without care Children on dunes play Sky oh so blue Calm is the shoreline Eagle just flew Seagulls are diving Perch on the run Kites eagles seagulls Make the sky fun Jane Noponen Perinacci��

Between the kites and the children (who fly high in their own right), and the eagles, this is quite a festive poem, perfect for a spring day, the kind of day one wishes would never end. Nice touches here and definitely upbeat. John

You word-painted an excellent poem, Jane. I know the feeling, and although Bayou Lafourche is far cry from your lake up there, or an ocean, it is quite awesome as far as I am concerned. Take these kind of days and bring them out from your hiding place and visit with them when days become bothersome.
