I looked at the picture and said, Oh, My God! Then I read your poem and said, Oh, My Wonderful God! In Jonah, the last chapter, God said He delights in saving His little ones, who know not their right hands from their left. This poem reminded me of that, thank you for sharing. It sounds like the Majestic Eagle was on a mission from God. Truly a beautiful story, is this based on a true story Jane? I am sure it is possible for this to happen as eagles are very bright and children are well protected by unknown forces xo

It's interesting how you have the boy be saved by an eagle. I don't know about India, but in Pakistan, I saw eagles circling everywhere. I'm sure they do swoop down and occasionally grab a cobra or two for lunch.
Amazing poem Jane. Lucky little fellow, it could have easily gone the other way. Incidentally, you look beautiful with that flower wreath on your head. How about a photo just of you with it? It just suits you.
