When I picture Gypsies, I think of wagon trains as they traveled throughout Europe, and even in the United States during earlier times. When it comes to riding the rails under boxcars that were locked tight, I think about my uncle taking to them and the hobo camps that cropped up around the country along the tracks near streams for water. No place for a woman, although some women did.
But if you want to be a free spirit and ride trains all the way to the salt mines, be my guest. I'd much rather pick you up along the highway thumb tripping. And give you three squares and a bed at a local motel on our journey. ;-)
