Your poem makes me almost cry. Oh, to hear that thrilling call of the redwing blackbird once again defending his territory loudly. Fruit trees budding out and blossoming so beautifully. And the gentle rain that tends to come in torrents here in the humid Gulf Coast. And children's voices on the street that seemed to have left our neighborhood as it changes over time.
