For all the Mothers that have raised boys. This is a poem about letting go and letting them fly.

I get a pain in my heart when I think of letting go But I know a child needs room to grow I can't keep you this young forever The ties, I find, are so hard to sever Letting go, can leave you vulnerable and unsure Mistakes aren't easy to endure Changes are often viewed as a threat As a child, there's no regret I must take the steps toward letting go For his own seeds, he must sow.
