“Landslide of Emotions”

I have endured the deepest canyons on foot

Painted the marbled wall in sorrow

With untamed tears akin to the rushing river

Flooding my eyes when I look back

At the time we spent together

You were the guiding force of the journey

The rock I clung to for strength

All that remains is a landslide of emotions

A riverbed of words left unsaid

I do not believe time will heal

The constant void in my soul

Your memory is locked away

In a secret place in my mind

Steep walls surround my heart

As I stand in awe of this beautiful view

I hear three words escape my lips

Carried by the wind~

Echoing down Black Canyon

…I Miss You…
