“Fireflies”
Every once in a while
Out of the blue
Something wanders onto your path
To delight you
That sudden jolt wakes you up
To surprise you
Like on those hot summer nights
Playing hide-in-seek with the neighbors
As you are running to hide
A firefly lands on you
Amazed by his glow
You stop dead in your tracks
If only for a moment
Before he flies away
Although you could never be sure
From where they come or why
To say hello or light our way
Yet always a nice surprise
When the night is filled with fireflies~

The first fireflies of summer. Still a childl at heart
capturing the glow. Love this sweet flicker and glow
in my jar!
Love ya!

Like all creatures in nature. They are best when allowed to run free like this poem.
