They're coming to take me away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-ha

Schizophrenic Poetry
They make hodgepodge sandwiches
of poetry a delightful breeze,
dropping eyelids in mosquito jars,
evoking the unevokable--
easily breaking their eggs
against the waves--
always off topic--
how wonderful it is to meet
someone who understands,
who can relate,
man, you know the thing--
we've been here all along
trying to decipher your code,
your ode, your abode,
your load--
in a singsong poultry,
you and me, levitating
through the sky, shy, die--
makes me cry... oh why oh why?
Thanks for the memories. We used to joke about the men in white coats coming to take us away way back in high school in the 1950s. The song rings with some truth that I recall listening to when it was a big hit. I didn't know that it was banned.
I've had some up close and personal experiences with schizophrenic people. Very hard to deal with.
Incredibly satisfying to find my old padded cell mate, Napoleon the 14th, here in full cry! That particular rendition has been my theme song for as long as I can recall. God bless the schizophasiacs...but watch out for the ever-widening pyramids...the ones with the great wholes, not Swiss fromage-like...um, man! What is the moon coming to? It's as easy as a bridge. after all, isn't it? Clang, clang, clang! Yezzir! Schizophasia, we're profusionable grade, made in Merka! You can croak me on that... Just drink my Kata Tonic, made from the souls of Kickapoo Medicine men, it'll cure your sanity permanently! -K2
