Love is a sad bird,
It has no home, it is always
in the wrong nest...

Poem Artwork

O Woman, I am a Lily of the Valley...

Oh woman, I am a lily of the valley,
     not an automobile,
do not try to find me,
     for I am the wind,
     forever changing my course,
I am a smile, not a postcard,
A face, not a photograph...

Come, swim with me in a tear,
Love is a sad bird,
It has no home, it is always
     in the wrong nest,
Come, sing with me a song
     of a lonely lark,
Look inside the forest of my eye.

Let the eagle show you,
Let the night teach you,
we are never at home in

          this world,
We always want more...

¡Oh mujer! soy un lirio de los valles...

¡Oh mujer! soy un lirio de los valles,
     no un automóvil,
     no intentes encontrarme,
     pues soy el viento,
siempre cambiando de rumbo, en rumbo,
Soy una sonrisa, no una tarjeta postal,
Una cara, no una fotografía...

¡Ven! Nada conmigo en una lágrima,
Amor es un pájaro triste,
No tiene casa, siempre está
     en el nido erróneo,
¡Ven! Canta conmigo una canción
     de una alondra solitaria,
Mira la selva de mi ojo.

Que el águila te muestre,
Que la noche te enseñe,
     nunca estamos a gusto
          en este mundo,
Siempre queremos más...

Sweet, sad love poem will get them every time. And if they are Hispanic? Send them one in Spanish.

Never worked for me.
