I’ve seen the remnants

Poem Artwork

I've Seen the Remnants

I’ve seen the remnants
Of this dying world unfolding,
I wrote to the sun and to the trees—
Like lovers we were walking
With hands holding
Amidst this funeral of souls
In the breeze.

Somebody screamed
And coughed up blood and sputum
Of all the lies, corruption
And disease,
As we just walked and laughed
This Sunday morning
Amidst this funeral of souls
In the breeze.

Nobody came to greet us,
Save the coroner,
Declaring time of death
Of souls gone,
As we were laughing in the sun
Like children,
Awakened by the beauty
Of the dawn.

This is the age of crystal
Revelation,
Of the awakened new humanity—
This is the age of the
Divine vibration—
This is the age of love
And unity.

The veils of fear once again
Are lifted,
As souls who preach
Division slowly die—
For we were always here
For a reason—
To wake humanity and
To destroy the lies.

With all the demons
Of the past now dying,
We witness once again
A new rebirth
Of the awakened children,
Men and women—
The sovereigns and guardians
Of this earth.

You know that my view of the world is simple. We bury flesh and bones, no need for a tomb because the soul lives on all around us. The tapestry that Connect us all is hope. I do enjoy the dark beauty of grief. It makes beautiful poetry.
