Why must they suffer…

Harmed no one they have,

Given to man a cuteness,

Loving to their offspring,

More so than even man,

Their young lives cut short,

To the heavens they do report…

Blood and guts left lying about,

For their skins they die,

With a club they are clout,

Technology can produce seal skin coats,

So many other clothing to wear,

Why kill any creature for clothing, I swear….

They do not fight,

They just lay and accept,

Man finds this slaughter funny,

Afterwards with blood and guts on their clothing,

Wonder if for the innocents, they ever wept…

They suffer because of man. 'Nuff said.

A painful, thought provoking write...thank you for speaking for those who have no voice.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

All the little creatures are here for man to exploit. The food chain knows no distinction, bnut man does. Remember, what goes around....

Why must they suffer…

A damn good question, my friend - and I believe the answer is that humans truly are the most vicious animals on this planet - although we like to believe that we are the most caring compassionate creatures in the entire universe.

W was shocked to learn this was still going on.
What are people thinking when they do something like this?
Thanks for bringing it to everyone's attention.
Good work.

the statement of Technology touches me for I believe it is the answer to this crime. I challenge anyone in this industry to come up with a design and fashion that will save these innocents!

After reading Ed K's poem yesterday, this comes as a slap to the other side of my head, leaving me reeling, with a deep sadness for these creatures who are so brutally murdered. Thanks for the solid follow-up, Ed.
Take care,
Sherry
