In Buddhism, we believe that our desires cause suffering. I feel this intensely when reading this work. If you satisfy this desire, it will fall away and no longer cause you anguish, although it may bring on other repercussions and consequences. It is the resistance that is creating the pain of the poem. Well written, vivid and touching work.

I don't know if I agree or not. Depends on whether you "by him known," is Rufuz or some higher power.
You will probably get a straighter answer from Rufuz.
