Riduculous! I could write a novel on people who should be supervising children's cyberspace 'Roaming.' However, that would be too much. After all who's the parent/grandparent? It goes without saying, that your poetry is always GOOD food for thought! As Winston Churchill said, "Don't let the bastards get you down." You and Rufuz keep 'r'ighting!

Children should be supervised when on their grand parents computers...Hell I would not care if mine read much of what is on here. Actually it is my experience that children who don't already know don't understand. Perhaps Grand ma missed that opportunity to share something special with the grand child. The child will now grow up with "issues" because of the reaction they got for opening up their mind and mouth.

I do think the rating system is ok but then again what is R for some is not for others. So that's my three and one half sence for today. LJ

ED - I understand your anger - been there - done that! Agree with all below - I remember back when AD did not even have a RATING option. I am one of the "DIRTY OLD MEN" who REQUESTED such be provided! I too have forgotten to change it, on occasion.

If MATT wasn't AWOL, or LOST IN CYBERSPACE, he might have his webmaster simply change the DEFAULT, so that R was automatically displayed - but then, the greater majority would be BITCHING AND MOANING, because their cute little 'gem' did not get any attention!

Finally, pray tell - WHY would a grand-parent LET their grand-kid have ACCESS to their own site, without PERMISSION?

In closing, am DYING to hear BUFFALO'S RESPONSE TO MOOSE - PLEASE SEND ME THE PIECE - VIA EMAIL IF NECESSARY - I'D SIMPLY RE-POST IT - RATED R - FOR RADICAL!

There should be a system here to avoid this kind of thing and this kind of censureship of an author. I'm sorry Ed, it's not right that anyone, anywhere can complain about anything and the author gets condemned for that readers narrow opinion.
