Stopping by the ocean on a sunny afternoon...

Here I stopped,

In my head did pop,

A desire to be near to my sea,

I raced there with all due haste,

Didn’t even see that hiding cop…

I told him I needed my sea,

My life was unhappily failing,

Against sanity I was railing,

Please, officer, let me keep on sailing…

He did let me continue,

I kid you not,

And with the same haste,

I did arrive at my usual spot,

But my sea had dried up,

It was all gone, not even left was a cup…

What if we all went down to the sea in ships… and it was gone! You've got the makings of a good horror story and a mystery combined. Why did the cop let you go when you smelled of MJ from head to toe and where did the sea and why did it go?

Ponder that in your pipe and smoke it.

In the End: Apocalyptic Poetry by Debra Kraft

In the end they'll all be dancin'--all them ones that didn't die.... Dance with me in the shadows amidst the lightning and the thunder, and all that nu-cu-lar debris. See the big bang from the other side, and then open that cellar door. Go down into
