Full moon on Valentine's day 2014 

         " Lovely greetings from its zone on this day of Valentine "

It was not dawn,yet awakened  by a  light

 Someone silently came calling  on me  soon

It was  O! the moon  that alighted bright and clear

 Perched  for some reason above my window sill so near

  The radiance of its rays, the magic in the glow

Brings greeting from its zone, on this day of Valentine 

 We looked  now eye to eye,engaged in the trance

I couldn't help but smile, but gazed on with pride

 It  stood there for a while  then hid beneath the   cloud line

  I wondered, so pleasing a sight,how soon it trailed out

It was on the way descending down the sky by night

Quietly  moving away west, halfhearted and sad its plight

Soon before the Sun came, spreading its shine along

 To wield its amazing power  through the  whole world wide on

For the waxing and waning moon,how much ever I croon

 Never  ever will swear by  the mysterious  lure of the handsome moon
