400 hundred years on this year we celebrate the legacy of William Shakespeare’s life and literary works. This is my ode to the great Bard,I loved his poem “‘Blow, blow, thou winter wind”
which most of us have learnt and recited in our school days. This is my humble attempt of writing in the style.

“Roar, roar, thou monsoon wind”

Though you beat at roofs of homes

Athough you break boughs of trees

That is not cruel

As brothers  fight, families separate

Heigh – ho ! sing heigh ho( 2}– unto the family!

Most relations facade, most feelings mere farce

But, heigh- ho O people!

This life still beautiful

“Shine, shine, thou summer sun”

Thou you not burn my  skin

Although you color up ripening fruits

Though thou breath is O so hot

You do not make it  harsh

  with ill spoken words

Heigh –ho ! sing heigh – ho (2),  speak no evil words..../! Heigh o  o people! THIS life ooe beautiful!

“Fall, fall,  full drops of rain

Although thy waters flood

Sswollen rivers break banks and flow

It brings no ache

AOf lovers parting go

Heigh ho sing heigh ho,

Oempty dreams remain , heigh ho o people /but life still beautiful!!

Your thought were deep and your words cut a precious path to the words of this excellent piece of this tribute to "The Man. The Poet."

This is more than a tribute to Shakespeare
It is a tribute to poetry and the joy of words
that tell the human story. It is beauty, and so
art thou, dear Roseline. So art thou!
