I see the tender lights of yesteryear.
I dance beneath the stars at night.
I smile, I laugh and remember days without fear.
Oh, what youth on me did that time bestow.
Warm and gentle were those days
where moonbeams shone on fields below.
I so long now for childhoods forever days.
Simple and easy, a time without worry or pain.
Yet it seems that I but briefly closed my eyes.
Alas opening them to this very day.
They grow heavy now and it’s getting harder to see.
If, if only for a moment I could once again feel the
Gentle warmth of the tender lights of yesterday.

So good to see you posting again. And your words are ringing true to me as I think often about all those things I did so easily and happened at lightning speed at that time, now slowed down greatly.
