If my spirit were to take flight and leave this day.
Mourn of me not in light of these words I now say.
For my love for you dear Jan has known no bounds.
Oh that peace, that love you bestow now on my mind is sound.
I ask only of you that you never give up,
In that you continue on in knowing that
What we had in life will always remain.
That our love will carry on forevermore.
Think about those times that on mountain curves we did dare.
Think of the moonlit nights and the sound of the oceans roar.
All those things we have done;
Yes these things we did share.
So like I have said sweet Jan,
Don’t weep for me.
Because I am that mountain road in your mind.
I am that oceans roar in your heart for I will always be there.

My love for you will live beyond death.
Though I will never again feel your touch,
I will always feel your love within my soul.
And never would I do anything to jeopardize not being with you in the realms of heaven as I have here on earth.
Our journeys have taken us near and far.
But our days on earth are drawing near.
And even in death our love for each other will never die.
And if my time comes before yours.
In love I will wait on you at heavens door.
This I can assure you.
So please live the rest of your life in peace
Remembering our times spent together,
As I will wait for you as you will for me.
Always remember I will love you in death
As I do in life.
