A game of words is what we play
Friends to the end is what we'll stay
I've never cared who won or lost
After all there's no fee or cost
Simply words and phrases set to rhyme
Mixed and matched to pass the time
Many uses we have proclaimed
Healing is where this is now aimed
My words you will twist and turn
But the war will always return
Because time has passed us by
And I must find words to fly
Catching up to myself in space
Has made it feel like a rat race
So give the kidding and jibes
I refused to take your bribes
Just to write, feel, and laugh
Has doubled my heart by half
