A poem of fading love, from my poetry book "A'more"

We'll pretend it isn't over just like little children do we'll pretend we love each other with a love forever true we'll pretend that nothings happened as we live our separate lives in a house that's cold and empty with nothing left inside we'll pretend with every moment in our work and in our play living out our daily duties in a very family way we'll pretend that no one sees us as we truly are we'll pretend as love still leaves us we'll pretend !
