Litany of Mercy

Give mercy to me for the faith I have to win your love.

Forgive me, Jesus.

Deliver Lord from my fears of child like dependency.

Deliver me Lord from false securities.

Deliver me Lord from the mercy of being left destitute.

Have mercy on me Lord for suspicion of divine words and premonitions.

Deliver me Lord from not uniting my will with yours.

Deliver me Lord from anxieties and angst about the future.

Deliver me Lord from obsessions about the past.

Deliver me Lord from self-seeking restlessness.

Deliver me Lord from being requested to give more than I have.

Deliver me Lord from excessive demands of love in a relationship.

Lord, Let your love go deeper than my limitations and disappointments.

Have mercy on me Lord for the unknown the future may bring.

Lord, unite with me in my sufferings in mercy.

Hold and sustain me in your love.

Jesus, I unite with you in trust and mercy.
