A Mother’s Day Acrostic

Psalm 23 written as an Irish Acrostic.

The First Lines of Psalm 23 are prefaced with a letter from 

Gaelic script (An Clo Gaelach)

A. The Lord is my shepherd. 

B. I shall not want.

C. He make the me to lie down in green pastures;

D. He lead the me beside the still waters.

E. He restore my soul. 

F. He lead the me in the paths of righteousness 

H.For his names sake. 

I. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. 

L.I shall fear no evil: thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.  

M.Thou prepared a table before me in the presence of my enemies: thou anointed my head with oil. 

N. My cup runneth over. 

O.Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:

And I shall dwell in the House of the Lord all the days of my life. 

The Gaelic Language has 18 letters. It is an alphabet writing system. 

Writing runs Left to right. 

Lenited consonants have dots over them.

David cries out in this psalm to the Lord.
