As the sun comes up in the north-eastern sky,
the birds begin to sing sweet songs as if to say,
"wake up, America, it's a brand new day!"
That morning air so cool as the breeze blows lightly
on the fall-stricken trees, shaking them and blowing them away.
All of a sudden a major gust of wind comes up and blows
most of the fall-stricken leaves off with a bloom of color,
The red, yellow, orange, and brown leaves float to the ground.
As they flutter in the wind they seem to form a banner of
colors saying loudly and proudly as possible, "Fall has arrived!"
The kids have a great time scattering and playing in and about
these magnificent colors, laughing, giggling,
and singing songs to make the day so perfect.
Then, after awhile, in the noontime, the squirrels run about,
up a tree and down, then over on the ground
as gracefully as a paper airplane perfectly made lands right
side up.
They stop for awhile, twitch their tails, and look about
earnestly and quickly for a moment, then they skitter up a tree.
Then, as the day comes to an end, the sky, with its scattered
clouds above, the sun radiating off them with brilliant color,
comes up and has a great effect which lovers in the park below
cannot resist.
Then we all say good night and dream of that happy day to come,
only hoping that day is as perfect as this one autumn day
has been
