Star struck You come over to my place Clothes in a mess, unshaven face How many times have I witnessed this scene? I’m not being judgemental, not being mean Star struck, wannabe What’s the difference between you and me? Star struck, wannabe Full of hope and tragedy But up on stage your body is next to heavenly As your sensual voice hits all the right keys Your audience is captivated, in awe Your ego can remain rest assured Star struck, wannabe Living the dream, the fantasy Star struck, wannabe That’s the difference between you and me © Andrea Coltman

This reminds me of all the stars wannabe's in the American Idol. Up on stage they're like completely another person.

Isn't that the way, those wannabe's always
trying to steal your thing. I never wanted
to be famous just happy and some people want

Ah once again you capture your topic with grace and put the reader there beside you as you look at the subject of your poem and litterally dissect him and compare him to yourself, also forcing the readers to compare him to themselves. Nice work Andrea.
