A Perfect Rose

Early this morning I
saw a rose. This
rose stood alone. It
was perfect in every way.

Its beauty and fragrance made me stay
I knew this beauty
could not last
Although God made

this rose so perfect
He made us in
His image so our
soul will last.

Of all the things
God created we
are the best.
The smile we give

can last all day
long
A kind word can bring
on a song.

Let's all pray to
Jesus every day
That close beside
us He will stay
